We have been having a rough time lately and i want to make things special. I have given him a lot of things (phone, wallet, cologne,shoes, taken him out to dinner, everything like that ive done) i want something out of the ordinary, something special that he will never forget. Any ideas?

You can buy him something for the office his going to work in. Even better, go and give his office a personal touch and put the stuff in while his out.
So he will be reminded of you every day he is working, and it would be something special.
