Wedding gift???
This is usually a shower gift, but i can be gven to the couple on the wedding day

The candle Poem

A basket of candles That come in a pair

In all different colors, For you two to share

The white ones burn first

They are wrapped in white lace

To celebrate your first married night

In your new chosen place

The green pair is taller, and also much thinner

Burn with the first company, you have over for dinner

The dark blue candles are for after your first fight

Use them to burn while making up all night

Pink candles set the mood and pave the way

For your first married Valentine’s Day

Now, when your first year of marriage is through

The cream anniversary pair, will light for you two.

Red candles aflame, both your futures are bright.

Celebrate promotions you’ve worked toward with all of your might.

By this time we hope, maybe, just maybe

You can light the purple ones, on the birth of your baby,

And just when you thought, you’d put these away

Take the light blue ones out-for your fifth anniversary day.

Now just one more pair left-for the big 2 5

The anniversary pair that will keep your love alive

Congratulations bride and groom (enter names)

On the start of your forever

May the two of you always be happy together

And burn these candles

Just the way we said

But please don’t forget-blow them out before bed!

Place all the candles in a nice basket, a nice gift for under $20
Reply:You could always get them a hotel room for the night of their wedding and decorate the bed with roses petals, champagne and any other romantic touch you can think of.
Reply:You could go with cash or something on the registry, or you could go with something a little more unique and fun, whatever you think they would like best. Here are some great gift ideas for weddings that are pretty unique if you decide to go that route: http://www.homewetbar.com/shop-theme-wed...
Reply:What about making a basket of goodies for their honeymoon/wedding night. You can put in a bottle of wine or champagne, candles, rose petals, sexy lingerie, boxers, and to add a bit of humor a whip or some body paint.

Or more traditional...a gift card to a home improvement or housewares store, their favorite restaurant, or money.

Hope you have a great time.
Reply:either give them a gift card, or if they are registered somewhere go check out the list and pick something(s) from that.
Reply:When I got married I registered at a couple of different places. Ask your friend if she is registered. If she isn't, I know that the gifts that I appreciated the most were picture frames and bedding. New frames to display new wedding photos is always a great gift. New sheets and matching blankets are special because they are the first bed clothes shared as husband and wife. Money is also nice because it comes in handy on the honeymoon. I hope that I helped.
Reply:How about a nice picture frame with a picture of the 2 of you in it. Get the same one for yourself as well. Each time either of you look at it it will bring back warm memories of your childhood friendship. Best wishes.......................
Reply:Anything you chose would be nice.
Reply:get them cash, its that easy, noone hates getting cash as a gift, so theres no chance on a bad decision.
Reply:Whenever I am invited as a wedding guest I give knives! I know this sounds crazy, (I know most people don't like to ascosiate their marriage with weapons) but my gift never got duplicated because nobody thinks of it; and nobody has ever returned them! If you go for it; get a nice, high quality set with the holder so she doesn't get cut digging through a drawer full of knives. Even a decent set shouldn't be that much money.
Reply:Take lots of pictures, and give them a photo album with "before" pictures, put copies of the invitations (batchelorette party and wedding) followed by what pictures you have. Make the last page the wedding invitations with blank pages for them to fill.
Reply:i was a bridesmaid at an old friends wedding and at the time i wasnt owrking to i homemade a bunch of candles for them, and bought a set of glasses
Reply:Either give them cash or find something off of their registry list that you know they will use a lot or will especially appreciate you getting them (something that relates to their favorite hobby, etc.)

Demonstrative gifts can be nice, but at the end of the day I think most couples starting out will be much happier to have something they need/can use daily than something expensive or decorative that won't be as important as the pots and pans or salad shooter they wanted people to buy them.
Reply:Cash, gift card, anything off their registry. You could also give her a mini photo collage of you and her throughout the years. Leave a space so she can add a photo of the two of you at the wedding! She should understand if you tell her you're bone dry and can't get her a great gift that you would like to.
Reply:Cash is always preferred.
Reply:Since this is your best friend why not make an album of pictures of the two of you through the years you spent having a great time growing up. You can put wonderful memories and quotes also in the book. It will be a treasure she will keep forever!

Reply:You could start a scrapebook for them with their wedding things and they could fill it in for the remainder of the 1st yr of marriage.

Or make one out of all the pics from the wedding...

Make up a special gift basket for their wedding night. Chocolates, strawberries, whipped cream, fruits, cheeses, wine, champagne, candles, massage oils, toys and etc...
Reply:How about one of these:
