I'm Very Thin, But 5'10"-5'11", So Most "Cute" Tops & Pants are Too Short on Me....

I have a very long waist-line and very super legs and most things that are found at Macy's and other Department Stores don't fit me. I love the "Juniors Department" Styles, not so much the "Womens Department" as I love the latest styles in the Juniors sections. Tops always show 3"-4" of my waist (I'm 29 and getting a little old for that!) while jeans and capris are always way too short on me! Now that Spring is here, I want to go shopping, but I want to do it right this time- ONLINE!!!





Does anyone know of an online store for "stylish" cute clothes, made for tall, but thin women without paying a fortune for "custom" outfits? Also, my husband is 6'5" and thin as well and he has the same problem. He wears size 16 shoes and has to special order them online. It's just so expensive to be tall!





Any advice will be greatly appriciated!

I don't think I can help with websites where you can buy the clothes, but I am sure you need to go for skirts and dresses, they are everywhere this season and will look extremly good at you. Plus, you will not have a problem with length:)

im 6"1. female, and also very slim. wears jeans from bootlegger! they are really helpful. and the pants are amazing and so confortable. try bluenotes for pants also you can get your waist size.. and your lenght... try and stay away from the store who have the size 0 to 7 and dont tell you the lenght!
Reply:i don't know about women, but for your hubby, try casual maleXL .my hubby also wears size 16 shoes, they have them in stock at the store. they have a LOT of talls. if you went to the website, it might have a sister site for women.
Reply:DOnt know of any good sites for you, but may I suggest layering the long tank tops and long tees with the reg ones that are too short for you?


Maybe u have tried that already, but I do it and it works for me when a teeshirt is too short.

Reply:I'm in the same situation. I'm 6ft tall, and it's very difficult to get clothes in the UK that are good value for money. Usually you have to pay a huge premium for them.

you can always layer the "cute" tops, just throw a boyfriend tank or wifebeater on underneath it.

also check out gap and banana republic, they do tall for most things, they are a little on the older side, but some things can be found their and great for bussiness kina stuff.


http://www.urbanoutfitters.com should have some great finds as well, most of their stuff isn't super short, and they tell you the grament length so you can tell if its going to be too short for you.
