Do Converse have special signs?

Well I have asked a question similar to this but no one quite answered my question so i thought i'd give it one more shot. Converses, you kno the sneakers. Well i have been lookin at the ones they sell and there are alot of differences and how do you tell when it is orginal? All brands have something that stand out and you can tell the knock offs from the originals but with a converse its harder for me. Sometimes the logo is bigger, the material is softer or harder (and i dont mean different types of materials e.g swade and leather, duh there is a differece), the inside of the shoe has different sole markings and lots of other stuff.





So my question. What is there to look for to kno the originals? What makes a converse a converse? And are they made in America or in a sweatshop in Indonesia, China , Japan or in some weird place.

usuallie they are made in vietnam or china... they used to be made in USA before being bought over by Nike.





look at the stiching, the heel patch, and the sole. usually the fake one has alot of flashes, extra plastic material due to improper molding. some of the time, a fake pair of converse comes with heel patch showing the wrong signs.





before getting a new converse, i recommend you to check out the detail in www.converse.com, you can zoom in to take note of the shoes detailing

Reply:Check the tongue on both low and high-tops. Both should have a tag that says Converse with the sizes.
Reply:although the above answer is right, i am going to have to say that converse have been worn for quite a long time, and not just by punks.





my brothers wore them when they were small in the late 50's and early 60's because they were the best and cheapest tennie for the boys to wear.

Reply:Wow..Okay well I got a pair of converse...and it wasn't that hard. You want a pair of Chuck Taylor All Stars. They sell them at places like...well I got mine at Famous Footwear. They were authentic too. They usually say all star on the tounge, and all star on the heel. Good luck.

I SHOULDN'T help you since you're a poser....but idc....they're just shoes...i guess....okay so here's the deal....you're looking for Chuck Taylor's all star!...those are the ones you want. It's what everyone who's "punk" wears. But yea, you'll hear people call them their chucks....and if you do....i want you to "chuck" your shoe at them...and tell them Pluto told ya to!...anyways hun, go to the mall....and find yourself some CHUCK TAYLOR ALL STAR CONVERSE.....if you are going for TOTALLY original, get black high tops....if you don't know what that is....ask someone at the store....if you're shopping online, then you'll look for black and ones that go up ur ankle. Good luck and PLEASE......don't be a poser......coz I'd have to like....eat my converse...and find a NEW shoe to wear....coz posers SUCK!!!
