How to get a date?

I seem to be having a lot of trouble getting a date. All of my friends are getting married or raising kids. I haven't been able to find anyone who is willing to go out with me yet. I'm not sure if I'm missing something, like some special words or magical shoes that I'm supposed to wear when I meet girls that no one has told me about that I'm just supposed to know of, but for some reason don't. Is there anything I should be doing?

Reply:If you are too scared to ask anyone out, or just don't seem to meet anyone, ask yourself about your looks. It's that simple. Not your face, or your hair style- your body. If you are in shape and work out, you won't even have to ask or sweet talk anyone. If you are out of shape, they lose the initial attraction (which is big), and if you don't even take care of yourself, how are you supposed to take care of anything else? They will come to you. Just hope you have what it takes on the inside after you have improved the outside.

Reply:Most people that have this problem, do so because they have unrealistic standards, for the persons looks. They don't seem to be concerned if the potential date has a personality or not.





Some men never outgrow this. I know a man whom is 39, short, very overweight, has no car, and is bald. He expects some super-model that is a foot taller then him, and 1/3 his weight to go on a date with him. That does not happen, so he has had perhaps 5 dates in the last 10 years.





Odds are some girl likes you, but you don't see her. You are probably targeting some other girls that basically don't know you exist. Why not practice on the easy ones first. You know, the ones you never seem to notice. Who cares if she does not wear a size 6, or whatever. What matters is she is fun to be with.





There are lots of single girls at the community college. You might be surprised how many are your type.
