I'm in constant pain,my foot looks deformed and i have trouble walking and getting most of my shoes on. I had special insets made by my podiatrist, which made no difference, now he tells me he can do no more for me and am waiting to see an orthopaedic surgeon.I am hoping there is an op to sort this but am not very optimistic.Has anyone else had this happen to them ?
The bones in my foot arch have collapsed, now i have been told the ligaments are torn too?
I have a freind this has happened to, and her podiatrist gave her a foot support which has helped so maybe you could see about getting one of those??
I would also suggest researching as much as you can about it.
Dont be fobbed off either if you not happy keep on at the doctors etc.
Sorry cant be more helpful, but really hope you can get some improvement soon.

I'm Very Thin, But 5'10"-5'11", So Most "Cute" Tops & Pants are Too Short on Me....
I have a very long waist-line and very super legs and most things that are found at Macy's and other Department Stores don't fit me. I love the "Juniors Department" Styles, not so much the "Womens Department" as I love the latest styles in the Juniors sections. Tops always show 3"-4" of my waist (I'm 29 and getting a little old for that!) while jeans and capris are always way too short on me! Now that Spring is here, I want to go shopping, but I want to do it right this time- ONLINE!!!
Does anyone know of an online store for "stylish" cute clothes, made for tall, but thin women without paying a fortune for "custom" outfits? Also, my husband is 6'5" and thin as well and he has the same problem. He wears size 16 shoes and has to special order them online. It's just so expensive to be tall!
Any advice will be greatly appriciated!

You are such a model material!!!
I don't think I can help with websites where you can buy the clothes, but I am sure you need to go for skirts and dresses, they are everywhere this season and will look extremly good at you. Plus, you will not have a problem with length:)
Reply:you clearly need to be dressing your age. your 29. GET OUT OF THE KIDS SECTION!!~
you can be stylish without dressing 14.
im 6"1. female, and also very slim. wears jeans from bootlegger! they are really helpful. and the pants are amazing and so confortable. try bluenotes for pants also you can get your waist size.. and your lenght... try and stay away from the store who have the size 0 to 7 and dont tell you the lenght!
Reply:i don't know about women, but for your hubby, try casual maleXL .my hubby also wears size 16 shoes, they have them in stock at the store. they have a LOT of talls. if you went to the website, it might have a sister site for women.
Reply:DOnt know of any good sites for you, but may I suggest layering the long tank tops and long tees with the reg ones that are too short for you?
Maybe u have tried that already, but I do it and it works for me when a teeshirt is too short.
good luck to you =)!
Reply:I'm in the same situation. I'm 6ft tall, and it's very difficult to get clothes in the UK that are good value for money. Usually you have to pay a huge premium for them.
Reply:what inseam are you for jeans? a 34-36?
check out express and alloy.com they both have long inseams that should work for you.
you can always layer the "cute" tops, just throw a boyfriend tank or wifebeater on underneath it.

they make most of their things for tall and skinny people, i love it.
also check out gap and banana republic, they do tall for most things, they are a little on the older side, but some things can be found their and great for bussiness kina stuff.
http://www.urbanoutfitters.com should have some great finds as well, most of their stuff isn't super short, and they tell you the grament length so you can tell if its going to be too short for you.

I can't feel my toe...?
6 months ago I wore these really high shoes out to a special event and ever since, I haven't been able to feel my second last toe properly...well I can kinda feel it but whenever I walk on it it feels like there's a little shock going through it...It's hard to explain! It doesn't hurt or anything, just feels really weird!! I probably should have gone to the doctor! Does anyone know what might be wrong?
I can't feel my toe...?
It sounds like a nerve is damaged.
Reply:Go see your doctor it could be nerve damage or something tore in it. go get it checked out b4 u lose all feeling in it. lol
Reply:prolly a mustl spazzam or a tore nerve.
just go to the doctors and see what they say.
Reply:its could be nerve damage as everyone else has pointed out, but i doubt the doctor will preform surgery to correct, he will just say rest and it will repair itself eventually. i just find it odd, that are you ever really aware of any toe besides the big one?
Reply:mAU FARTED ON THE WHEN YOYBE IT BROKE
Reply:This happens to me to. I don't know why. It's only on one foot. It hurts but not terrible, it's just bad annoying. Let me know what you find out.
Reply:it will grow back or go to the doctor
Reply:It is difficult to say from your description whether this is a local process or systemic process (diabetic etc).
It is always good to visit a physician or try to use a normal fitting shoes.
Reply:Sounds serious! I suggest you call for a toe-truck ASAP!
Reply:stab it with a pair of sisscors...

What are some examples of proper/improper clothing etiquette in Japan? Certain colors, fabrics, rituals, etc.?
I've heard contradicting stories about which styles, colors, fabrics, designs, are appropriate/inappropriate in various situations, as well as other, more general, rules about clothing. Any and all pieces of information are welcome, including those concerning the putting on/taking off of shoes, jackets, clothing for special occasions/formal wear, school uniforms... pretty much anything really, focusing on examples of good/bad etiquette.

Okay, it's been a coupleof years since I lived in Japan, so forgive me if I am fuzzy on details.
Shoes: take them off when entering a person's home. Most Japanese homes have a foyer of sorts where you can safely remove them and place them neatly, as well as slippers(usually far too small for gai-jin feet, but still) for you to wear while a guest in the home. TECHNICALLY speaking, the home itself doesn't begin until you pass that 'foyer'(real name escapes me) so it's perfectly normal to have somebody just walk in side before announcing their presence. In Tokyo, ANYTHING goes as far as style of clothing. On Sundays at one of the big train stations is Gothic fashion show.. an informal gathering of every extreme fashion out there.
Generally speaking, Temples and Shrines are considered holy places, so dress like you would your local church or synagogue. Most tourists are not allowed inside the temple, per se, so if you happen to be walking around in shorts, it's okay. Just don't expect to be allowed inside to take pictures.
kneeling and sitting on the floor is normal in homes and restaurants, so you won't want to wear anything super constricting or revealing like skirts slit up to your navel. Japan is a huge melting pot and as such, is tolerant of nearly all other cultures, so long as you aren't obnoxious about it.

2000 Toytoa Corolla?
I am looking into replacing the front disk breaks.
Well pads and surface the rotors.
And Looking at replacing the rear drums and brake shoes.
Are there any special tools that I would need to replace the front or rear breaks?
Please let me know if you have any tips for this task as well.
Thank you!!!
2000 Toytoa Corolla?
front brakes just a set of metric wrenches, c clamp and a rubber mallet to break bolts loose. for the rear a needle nose pliers and a cheap set of drum brake tools from an auto parts store is a good investment. read up on repair info in manual or on www.autozone.com
Reply:If you buy the genuine Toyota brakes, your life will be easier. They have a brake "package" that has new return springs, pads, all hardware, and it's a perfect fit. Be sure to change your brake fluid now, as the original fluid has absobed all the water (hygroscopic) in 8 years that it possibly can. The job is easy and straight forward if you have a little experience. Obviously, the brake pistons must be compressed as far back into the caliper as possible to make room for the new pads. You can usually use a C-clamp, or remove only the inner pad and use a large headed screwdriver to retract the piston, then remove the outer pad. Good Luck!!! The only other brake pad I would ever use comes from Australia. (Axxis) they leave your wheels clean and don't make brake dust.
